Meet the Tailor
Hey there, I'm Aixa, also known as "Pasteila" and I've been a 2D classic clothing designer in the virtual clothing industry on the platform Roblox for over 10 years.
You may recognize me for the appearances of my clothing work being featured in Roblox experiences such as Royale High, Skate Park, Roblox Point, Rocitizens, Good Girls Sorority, Coded Clothing Mall V3, and many other games on the platform. You may even be one of my socials fans and stumbled across my clothing work recently, so who knows how people recognize me?
Being part of the virtual clothing industry on Roblox for such a long time has taught me so many things and new skills, I [somewhat] don't regret anything that has happened to me over the last 10 years. With that being said, if you are new to designing or still looking to improve, you can always feel free to reach out to me via my social media profiles here or see my video tutorials here.
How long have you been creating virtual 2D clothing for?
I've been designing for over 10 years, of late August, since 2012. Over the years I've met many wonderful online classic clothing designers, and have always supported them and their designs. The virtual classic clothing industry on Roblox is no easy game, and sometimes I need to push myself to put out the best quality for each article of classic clothing I make for the platform. I've contributed in over 50,000+ clothing sales for a handful of games' NPC clothing.
What made you want to get into virtual 2D clothing making?
Tough question, really. At the time, I was merely a 12-year old with no prior experience in digital art, I didn't really think I'd get anywhere, so I made it a long-time hobby. My first ever design was inspired by an old pair of pink sneakers I wore every day with grey capri pants, but mostly because I used to play Vampire Roleplay very often back in the day. Although, I do want to mention that my biggest inspirations at the time were Jalki, Shaddic, missmudmaam, reesesgurl, and PinkObot. All of these legendary 2D clothing designers and their clothes really allowed me to express my sense of fashion at the time. I've looked up to them ever since I was a pre-teen, and now I'm super honored to be friends with some of my biggest inspirations.
How long do you plan to create virtual classic clothes for in the future?
I can't really say how much longer I intend to stay on the platform, since I am currently attending college full-time with two majors. If I had to estimate, I'd say, give or take about 5-10 years, if the platform still exists by then (which it most likely will).
What inspired you to create a website?
I found out that after multiple attempts at organizing all my designs through a social app (Twitter), it wasn't exactly the best way to showcase my virtual tailor skills. In order to organize every release and collection I put out on the Roblox platform, I decided a website would be the best way to showcase my items. You can find my 2D clothing creations and 2D works easier through this website!
